Nice rooms with plenty of space. The food was particularly breakfast was very very good, and is not worth missing. The main stair case was new and original. It was situated in a good area, with a shop directly opposite. The only draw back was that the noise of the city life at night was very loud and made it hard to go to sleep
Nice clean.. Spacious hotel.. Food is also good.. Will definitely recommend..

First things first - the rooms are not air conditioned so for the same price point you get better and spacious hotels closeby... Having said that the place itself was good, good choice of breakfast and dinner and the regular usual stuff.
Clean , friendly staff, good food at a reasonable price, only negative was the room was like an oven
Vaughan Way, Leicester LE1 4NN, UK – 0871 984 6254
Staff are polite and attentive, room was small yet adequate, facilities were clean with nice powerful showers. Bed was really comfortable, however not over keen on the square shaped pillows! Usual tea, coffee and kettle in room. Breakfast is available downstairs, vending machines Location was close to a venue we were visiting called the curve. This hotel is close to the high cross shopping complex, which has all the usual shops like John Lewis and numerous coffee shops and places to eat. Various pubs nearby too. The hotel is next to a casino, only downside is you have to pay for parking which is £5.
I would like to draw attention to Brent and sagar. on Friday last week whilst in Leicester I had lost my wallet, keys, phone and ID. as a result I was not able to travel home until the next day. I had to take cash out over the counter at the bank and went to Travelodge. I did not know what to do and I was met with these two guys who immediately calmed me down and put me at rest and were able to Identify me from previous stays with assistance from central office. within ten minutes they had got me a room sorted and gave me advice. Fantastic guys, really appreciate what they did and reminds me why every time I travel I will stay with Travelodge. thank you guys, you helped me when I needed it and its not forgotten

Always a great place to stop off at. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. Outside area is great too.
Really nice pub next to the canal. Would be beautiful in the summer. Really nice menus and great food when ordered. We have been back frequently 😁

It was a very hot day in July 2018. I was thirsty and being Monday I was able to enjoy lower prices for Mondays at Lloyd's No.1 in Leicester. One of the very few pubs with price list and food and drink menus on every table. Plus there is information in the menus like calories for each dish and percentage volume of alcohol for every drink. In today's IT world information costs money but in Wetherspoon pubs this much valued info for good health is provided free.
Fantastic atmosphere, I'm a wheelchair user and the staff couldn't be of more help and the pricing and quality of their food and drink is 2bd to none

Absolutely lovely place, owners could not do enough. Took time to chat to you. Rooms were spacious and extremely comfortable. Self serve breakfast is an amazing idea. If in the area again will be staying here.
Great welcome, quiet and cozy. A little unpractical if you are headed to the city centre without a car. Room was well fitted. Breakfast items were plenty and diverse only thing missing was fresh fruit and ham. Would recommend.
4 Glenfield Rd, Leicester LE3 6AP, UK – 0116 262 7554
Lovely place to stay. The owner Bob could not of been more welcoming and friendly. Does everything he can for his guests. Booked a single room for 3 nights but upon arrival was shown to a lovely double room as it was available. The shared bathrooms and shower room are all modern and up to date. Would recommend and stay again
Cheap and cheerful. Not too far away from city centre. Friendly owner. No problems.
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
